We transform one of nature’s most valuable materials—wood—into furniture and objects with a story, shaped through a refined, functional, and minimal aesthetic. The harmony between our designers and master craftsmen allows us to turn the finest timbers into living objects, combining innovative production technologies with traditional handcraft. Each piece is born with a unique identity, defined by the natural character of the wood. Traditional Craftsmanship & Local Production In response to the homogenizing effects of industrialization, we support local production and traditional woodworking techniques that are gradually disappearing. While redefining the value of craftsmanship, we serve contemporary design needs and pay tribute to the anonymous masters of the past. Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility We honor our responsibility to nature by minimizing material waste and giving each piece of wood a long-lasting “second life.” Since every tree has its own grain and character, even products within the same series are inherently unique. To give back to nature, we plant one tree through the Aegean Forest Foundation for every product purchased from Ananas Atelier—contributing to a more sustainable future. Human-Centered Design & Healthy Surfaces With a user-focused approach, we preserve the natural texture of wood using VOC-free, environmentally friendly oils. Our finishes are compliant with EN 71-3 standards and contain no formaldehyde. For kitchen and tableware products, we use Eurofins “Fit For Food” certified oils, ensuring safe contact with food. Our surface treatments are certified for durability under EN 12720 and EN 12722 standards. Carefully Selected Materials All timber used in our production is kiln-dried to an ideal moisture content of 7–12%. We source our materials from legally managed and sustainably operated forests. Each piece is selected with precision and crafted to last for generations. The Principle of Timelessness For us, sustainability goes beyond production—it defines the lifespan of a product.
